Dumpers hurt producers
14 Aug 2008

Australian industries and growers are being forced to fight the dumping of cheap imported product because dumping is not policed by any government department. SPC Ardmona has spent two years in court and $300,000 fighting cheap Italian tinned tomatoes without success. Customs said a dumping case was a matter for companies, not the government.
