Horticulture reports kept secret
4 Dec 2008

A review into the vegetable levy and a PricewaterhouseCoopers audit into Horticulture Australia''s governance procedures have both been completed but have not been released to growers *or* the public. A third report into HALs governance has also been kept secret. "In mid-2008, the HAL board instigated a third review due to some serious concerns around its governance procedures, and seeking further clarity surrounding the vegetable levy," a source said.
