Farm safety campaign pulls on boots

A new farm safety campaign will be launched tomorrow which features country-based Australian Rules football. Victoria has had a horror year for farm deaths, with eight recorded so far in 2004. In 2003 there were eight deaths for the whole year.
Of the eight farm workers killed to date this year, seven have been men aged 54 or above and six of the accidents involved tractors.
The advertisements will include one in which a farmer returns home on his tractor after a day's work to play footie with his children.
