Surging input prices drives up machinery prices

Farmers can expect to pay more for farm equipment, due to the surging price of steel. The Tractor and Machinery Association said price rises were inevitable. The association said suppliers had tolerated lower profit margins for more than year, but would have to restore those margins and lift prices.
