Growers place their trust in Coke
4 Feb 2005

The SPC Ardmona Voting Trust, which controlled a four per cent stake in SPC Ardmona on behalf of growers, said the takeover of the company by Coca Cola Amatil was not as dramatic as many growers would think. The trust said the takeover promised growers better access to export markets and supermarkets, but also provided the capital for new products that would further boost growth. The trust said growers had also been assured their grower liaison committee would remain in place.
