Another case of citrus canker in Queensland 21 Feb 2005
The Department of Primary Industries confirmed a new case of citrus canker has been detected within the quarantine area at Emerald in Queensland. The new detection was just outside an area where a large number of trees were previously destroyed due to citrus canker and will require the additional destruction of around 12,000 trees on the farm. The new case would not impact on existing interstate and international trade movements.
