Three quarters of Queensland citrus orchards in the clear 28 Feb 2005
The Gayndah and Mundubbera citrus area has been confirmed pest-free, and the domestic market restrictions imposed due to Emerald's canker outbreak will be lifted in time for this year's crop. The announcement means 75pc of Queensland citrus orchards are now in the clear. The remaining 25pc of Queensland orchards are still restricted within the Emerald Pest Quarantine Area.
