Kiwis threaten WTO action over apple ban
23 May 2005

Apple orchardists in New Zealand want their government to take Australia to the World Trade Organisation over Australia’s continued ban on apple imports. Australia has barred New Zealand apples for years over concerns they might carry the bacterial disease fireblight.
