West’s label laws of little relevance
11 Jul 2005

Western Australia’s new rules on produce labelling will have little impact in the market, as retailers import less than five per cent of fruit and vegetables sold in the state. The new rules, however, are the result of consumer and media lobbying, rather than any great enthusiasm by the government for the measure.
