Australia’s organic farms seek help

The organic farming industry is now the fastest-growing agricultural industry sector in the world, but Australia's organic sector is lagging the trend. National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia wants a national certified organic standard, with one consumer label for produce and value-added products. There are 2340 certified organic operators in Australia and nearly eight million hectares of certified organic land.
