Imported pineapples upset Queensland growers

Tropical Pines in Yeppoon in Queensland are urging consumers to boycott imported pineapples and continue to buy locally grown produce. Imported product from the Philippines are for sale in Queensland’s wholesale markets. Tropical Pines grows, packs and markets more than 12,000 tonnes of pineapple throughout Australia and represents 20 farms along the Queensland coast.
