FNQ farmers land Coles potato contract
13 Oct 2005

A group of north Queensland potato farmers has signed a contract with Coles Myer to supply 2,000 tonnes of spuds. Coles may seek to buy as much as 10,000 tonnes. The growers will principally supply Tobago variety brushed potatoes, although other varieties would be catered for if required.
