Riverland Fruit Cop-op creditors wait for dividend
20 Oct 2005

Creditors of the Riverland Fruit Co-operative have had their second dividend payment delayed by court action. Creditors had expected to receive a dividend of 50 cents in the dollar last month. That would have given them a total return of 100 cents in the dollar after an earlier payment of 50 cents following the sale of the co-op's stake in juice giant Berri Limited. However, the co-op's liquidator said the payment had been postponed due to a counterclaim brought by the company formerly known as Robern Menz.
