Mango harvest a fizzer
19 Dec 2005

The 2005 Mango harvest is down by between 50 per cent and 70 per cent on last season with prices for Australian consumers up as a result. The biannual crop has suffered from the late harvest in 2005 with trees not having enough time to recover. Despite higher prices, consumers will not miss out on mangoes, said the industry as exports and processors will be sent less volume.
