Sunbeam shrivels prices for dried fruit
2 Mar 2006

The Australian Dried Fruits Association said Sunbeam's offer for this season was too low.

Sunbeam offered $1300 a tonne for currants, down 28 per cent on last year and $1250 a tonne for sultanas, down 13 per cent. Yet the world price for sultanas was up 47 per cent.
