Fruit fly breaks out in north-east Victoria 28 Apr 2006
Benalla and Tungamah, northeast of Shepparton, have recorded outbreaks of fruit fly. The region is otherwise unaffected by the insect. The Department of Primary Industries said there had been several outbreaks in northern Victoria this year, but the fruit season was almost over.
