Second review of plant seeds deemed weeds

Biosecurity Australia is undertaking a second review of the list of plant seeds permitted into Australia. The plan is to replace 2,913 genus-level listings with species-level listings already known to be in Australia. A review last year removed 3,335 species from the permitted seeds list.
