Five month extension for drought aid in western NSW
29 Jun 2006

Farmers in six exceptional circumstances-declared areas of NSW will receive a five-month extension to their drought support. The six EC areas are: Nyngan, Hay, Condobolin A & B, Condobolin-Narrandera, Majority Western Division and Goulburn-Yass. The extension applies to all producers in these areas, except for horticulturalists and viticulturalists in the Goulburn Yass EC area. Farmers in the Forbes, Molong and Central Tablelands regions of NSW will continue to receive exceptional circumstances drought support for two more months.
