Wage subsidies extended in FNQ

Farmers and business in the Innisfail region in far north Queensland may qualify for wage subsidies for 26 weeks, up from 13 weeks. Farms and business now have until the end of August to apply. Banana and sugar cane farmers in the district have received $7 million in income support since Cyclone Larry devastated crops and damaged more than 7000 homes in February.
