Fruit and veg merchants slate horticulture code

The Australian Chamber of Fruit and Vegetable Industries said the proposed mandatory code "will cost growers money and will likely put many small growers out of business". Cabinet on Monday approved a mandatory code after the industry failed to agree to a voluntary one.
