Stone fruit prices likely to double

Growers of pears, apricots and plums may receive about twice as much for their produce as they did last year due to the loss of many fruit to frosts in Victoria last week. The Goulburn Valley produces 75 per cent of Australia's apricot harvest and 85 per cent of pears.
