Success grows on trees and bushes for new co-operative
15 Dec 2006

Y.V. Fresh is a co-operative of seven family businesses, who between them have 250 hectares of crops in the Yarra Valley. They specialise in blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, persimmons and lemons. Mark Chapman, CEO, said “Y.V Fresh as a marketing company has only been operation for three months and we expect to turn over $5 million in our first year”. Y.V. Fresh is working on a berry breeding program to supply fruit all year.
