PM’s water plan waits on data
13 Apr 2007

At the heart of the Prime Minister’s $10 billion water plan lie the CSIRO’s water calculations and yet they may not be available for months and may not be released until after the federal election. John Howard said that interim results from the CSIRO’s study would be released available in March with the final figures to come by the end of the year. Irrigators are frustrated that they have not been able to get any details on the Prime Minister’s plan since its announcement in January.
