Veggies in short supply

A worldwide shortage of vegetables is expected to push prices up sharply. Imports of vegetables into Australia were up by 16 per cent in the nine months to March. The price paid for fresh vegetables by consumers was up by 6.1 per cent in the three months to June and frozen products will also increase over the coming months.
