NZ takes Australia to court over apples
23 Jan 2008

New Zealand has convinced the World Trade Organisation to set up a panel that will decide if Australia must accept apple imports from the country. A first request for arbitration was vetoed by Australia, but as that option can only be used once it was inevitable that it would succeed a second time. However, with appeals against any decision likely a final resolution to the dispute could still be years away.
