NIB finally reaches agreement with Mayne Health
20 Dec 2001

Following recent disagreements with Mayne Health, one of the largest private hospital operators in Australia, NIB has finally reached an agreement with them that will allow NIB members to receive treatment in a Mayne-owned hospital without incurring out-of-pocket costs.

NIB and Mayne Health have had disagreements over the past few months regarding contract arrangements. Although details have not been disclosed, NIB has confirmed that satisfactory arrangements have been made and health fund members who choose to be treated at a Mayne-owned hospital will not be financially disadvantaged.
