NRMA Insurance name change

The publicly listed NRMA Insurance company has undergone a name change.
In a move to distance itself from NRMA Member Services, the insurer has taken on the new name of IAG, Insurance Australia Group along with a new logo. However, the NRMA Insurance brand will still operate in NSW, ACT and QLD, as will the SGIC brand in SA and the SGIO brand in WA. IAG will only be used as the new name for the publicly listed company. Policyholders will not be affected but people wanting to buy or sell NRMA shares will need to use the new ASX stock code of IAG as of Friday 18 January 2002.
