VIC Government offers insurance lifeline
21 Mar 2002

The Victorian Government has decided to launch a pooled insurance scheme for not-for-profit clubs and associations in an attempt to soften the blow of soaring premiums. The package is due to be launched in Victoria by July 1, with hopes that it will be adopted nationally.

Spokesman Brian Walsh said details of the package have not yet been finalised, but its purpose will be to allow community groups to use their combined muscle to seek better insurance deals.

'Insurance lifeline', The Weekly Times, 21/03/02.
