Rain in central Queensland a boost for AACo
18 May 2005

Australian Agricultural Company said its Wylarah station in Queensland – one of AACo's two properties affected by the drought – received 80 to 100 millimetres of rain in the past week, and that the rainfall in central and southern Queensland is very valuable. AACo said that despite the season being below average and store cattle prices falling, there have been some positives for the company. The company said prices of prime cattle were good, and have started to strengthen again over the last two weeks.
