Rains fatten cattle and farm profit

Australian Agricultural Company said strong rains in late June changed the dynamics of the cattle market, improving the outlook for itself, and no doubt other beef farmers. Up until June, the market was flooded with a lot of cattle that were not properly fattened. AACo said good cattle were now coming through and prices were holding up well. The Australian, 11/08/05
