Harvey Beef reopens behind schedule
1 Sep 2005

The abattoir of Harvey Beef in Western Australia delayed its reopening until this week, with a major backlog of cattle waiting to be killed in WA. As a result, few farmers are presenting beef for sale in the state’s sale yard. Elders and another consortium are vying to buy the business from the administrators of EG Green and Sons.
