Landmark property on the market
6 Sep 2005

One of WA's biggest and most high-profile wheat growers, Chris Moffet, has put his farm near Morawa on the market for $11.5 million. The sale could be one of the State's biggest ever rural property deals. The property, Ballaranga, is being marketed by AWB Landmark and includes more than 16,000 hectares of land, of which 9000 hectares are croppable and 5200 hectares are lake grazing country. Moffet said his children and his second wife had other professional interests, leaving no successors.
