US beef back on Japanese menus

Scientific experts in Tokyo yesterday declared that beef from the US was fit to import. As a result, US beef is certain to displace the dominance of Australian beef exports in the Japanese market. The ban on US beef was imposed two years ago after a case of mad cow disease in the US.
