Beef exporters expect to maintain sales in Japan

Meat and Livestock Australia said they did believe that US beef imports to Japan, once they resume, will claim a much lower market share than before. Japan may limit US beef imports to meat from cattle of less than 20 months. MLA forecasts that Australian beef producers will export 50 per cent more meat to Japan this year.
