Woolgrowers revive saline land

Australian Wool Innovation chief executive Len Stephens said improved land management practices had restored once saline land to productivity. AWI say that half the salt-affected land of woolgrowers now sustains grazing due to; improved farming techniques on hills, better management of native vegetation, restoring waterways and boosting awareness of biodiversity.
