Animal activists face tough new laws
12 Jan 2006

Agriculture minister Peter McGauran discussed a crackdown on animal welfare activists who interfere with any aspect of animal production or marketing at a secret meeting with the industry late last year. Livestock industries are preparing to respond to activist attacks with public education campaigns.
