Egg war hurts producers

The egg war between Queensland’s Sunny Queen, NSW’s Pace Farms and Victoria’s Farm Pride is hurting family owned operators who can’t compete with the flood of cheap product. Boxes of 15 dozen eggs are being sold for $6, compared to production costs of about $20.
