Lamb consumption down
19 Jan 2006

Lamb consumption is down about twenty per cent over the last six years despite an intensive campaign by Meat and Livestock Australia. Consumption has fallen from 12.5kg a person in 1999-2000 to an estimated 10kg a person last financial year. MLA is increasing its spending on the advertising campaign this year to $5.5 million.
