AAC invests in breeders

The country's largest cattle producer, Australian Agricultural Company, will boost its breeding stock by 22,000 in the next two years and by 100,000 eventually as it undertakes a major program of investment and expansion in northern Australia. The company recorded 269,287 breeding cows at end of 2005, up from 263,992 at the end of 2004.
