Sheep e-sier to manage
22 Feb 2006

The e-sheep project uses automated gates to measure each individual animals’ weight, age, sex or wool thickness without the farmer ever leaving the farm house. A e-nose is being developed that will detect fly-strike. The Sheep Co-operative Research Centre will detail new innovations in the industry today at the Wool Meets Meat conference.
