Harvey meatworks’ new owners move in
14 Mar 2006

Former chief executive of Skywest Scott Henderson took over yesterday at Western Australia’s biggest meat processing plant, Harvey Beef, as new owners Stark Investments and Harmony Capital took possession eight months after the collapse of EG Green Group. The 330 workers at the plant also voted yesterday to accept a new flexible enterprise bargaining agreement containing a 3.3 per cent annual wage rise over the next three years. Henderson said that a cattle shortage will affect plant operations in the next six months.
