Vets want better welfare for live exports
20 Mar 2006

Australian vets are concerned about animal welfare standards in the live export trade says the Australian Veterinary Association and expects improvements if exporters are to maintain vets support for the industry. Exporters must ensure the welfare of the animals during the journeys and upon embarkation in the foreign country said the AVA. The Association wants a review of standards and commitments of improvements.
