Roberts and Ruralco cement merger

Shareholders in New South Wales based Ruralco agreed to a merger with Tasmanian-based Roberts Limited. The two companies will combine their wool, livestock, real estate and rural merchandising businesses. The merged company will be Australia's third largest supplier of goods and services to the agribusiness sector behind Elders and Landmark.
