WA pastures under pressure

Pasture yield rates in the south west areas of Western Australia will be down by as much as 60 per cent this year according to CSIRO satellite research. The Pastures from Space project researchers say that 2006 will be worse than 2002 and could be amongst the worst performing years in the last 100 for WA farmers.
