Cowra abattoir closes
15 Aug 2006

The owners of Cowra abattoir shut the facility, laid off 200 staff and appointed voluntary administrators. Owner David Mulligan decided to halt operations after a planned sale fell through. A buyer had been due to sign a contract last Friday.
