Beef and milk offset sheep and wool

The most valuable agricultural commodities in 2004/05 were cattle and calf slaughterings and other disposals (up 18 per cent to $7.8 billion), wheat (down 23 per cent to $4.3 billion), whole milk (up 14 per cent to $3.2 billion), wool (down 8 per cent to $2.2 billion) and sheep and lamb slaughterings and other disposals (down 4 per cent to $1.9 billion).
