Victoria bans 1080 for fox control

The Victorian government imposed a ban on 1080 liver baits, annoying farmers who prefer the bait to control foxes. A 2001 trial by the Victorian Department of Primary Industry's Vertebrate Pest Research Unit found that foxes were almost twice as likely to take and immediately eat fresh liver baits than the commercial product, Foxoff.
