Farmers shift stock in record numbers
6 Oct 2006

Wagga Associated Agents said the number of stock sold over the last six weeks were at record levels, including 67,000 sheep and 6,000 cattle sold on one day this week. Prices are falling. Dry conditions mean farmers have to reduce stock load on their farms.
