Cattle prices recover
3 Nov 2006

Farmers are taking fewer cattle to saleyards, though yardings of lambs continue to rise. The Eastern Young Cattle Indicator posted its biggest gain of the year when it improved 17c/kg last week, buoyed by a 18 per cent drop in national yardings. Lamb prices continue to fall.
