Acton active in beef buyouts
10 Nov 2006

Graeme and Evan Acton's Acton Land & Cattle Co is emerging as a significant owner of cattle stations in northern Australia. Acton agreed to buy Iffley Station, inland from Mackay, for $7 million and with 8000 head of cattle. Acton has become one of the nation's 10 biggest beef operations. It had about 150,000 head of cattle late last year.
